1. Background
Guangdong Radio and Television Station (GDTV), headquartered in Yuexiu District, Guangzhou, is one of China’s leading provincial-level media organizations. Its operations span multiple platforms—radio, television, newspapers, magazines, internet platforms, new media, and broadcasting transmission services.
As a government-affiliated institution, GDTV plays a pivotal role in disseminating political, economic, and cultural information. In today’s fast-paced digital era, it manages vast volumes of complex, time-sensitive news daily. To stay ahead, GDTV frequently holds emergency communication and strategic decision-making meetings at its headquarters, ensuring rapid responses to evolving news cycles and trending topics.
2. The Need for Innovation
To keep pace with modern demands, GDTV recognized the need for a smarter, more efficient communication environment. Mr. Cai, Director of GDTV’s New Media Department, spearheaded the search for a multimedia display solution that could upgrade their meeting rooms and support GDTV’s broader strategy of digital transformation.
3. The Partnership Begins
In April 2024, Mr. Cai reached out to JAV’s founder, Mr. Li Xiang, to arrange a visit to the Tableau intelligent JAV factory—conveniently located in Guangzhou near GDTV’s headquarters. Mr. Li personally welcomed the GDTV delegation, provided a guided tour of the production line, and demonstrated the capabilities of the JAV Smart Board.
The GDTV team was impressed by the product’s performance, versatility, and ease of use. As Mr. Cai noted:
“Our industry demands a powerful conferencing tool like the JAV Interactive Display—one that offers an innovative, interactive, user-friendly, and technologically advanced experience for evaluating, creating, organizing, and sharing media content.”
That very day, GDTV signed a purchase agreement with JAV Board.
4. Deployment and Integration
By early May 2024, JAV’s installation team delivered and set up the interactive flat panel displays in GDTV’s meeting rooms. Each unit was seamlessly integrated into GDTV’s Digital Information Sharing System, enabling real-time content synchronization and instant media sharing across all connected devices.
5. Follow-Up and Feedback
A month later, the JAV team returned to GDTV headquarters for a follow-up visit and, with permission, documented the implementation on video. During the interview, Mr. Cai shared his feedback:
- Seamless Integration – “We’ve successfully connected the Panneau plat interactif JAV to our Digital Information Sharing System, enabling fast, efficient transmission of information. It functions exceptionally well.”

After the interview, Mr. Cai personally gave the JAV team a tour of GDTV’s headquarters.
