How to Use the Whiteboarding App on JAV Smart Boards?

Welcome to the Note App tutorial for your JAV Smart Whiteboard. This guide will help you quickly understand how to launch the app, explore the menu, and master the toolbar functions. With intuitive tools and cloud integration, the Note App transforms your JAV Smart Whiteboard into a powerful platform for teaching, brainstorming, and collaboration.

1. Launching the App & Interface Display

• On the Home screen, tap the Note app to open the whiteboard.
• By default, the pen tool is pre-selected in the toolbar, allowing you to start writing immediately.

2. Menu Overview

Click the menu icon in the lower-left corner to open the sub-menu. Below are the available functions:

1. New – Create a new whiteboard page. If the current content isn’t saved, you’ll be prompted to save first.
2. Open – Open an existing file for re-editing or saving.
3. Save – Save the current content. The default name uses a timestamp, but you can rename it. Files can be stored on the device or a USB drive.
4. Save As – Save the file under a new name.
5. Import – Choose from supported formats and confirm to import.
6. Export – Select an export format, file name, and save path.
7. Cloud Storage – Upload files to cloud storage after logging in.
8. Theme – Apply templates and background designs.
9. Send Email – Save and send the current whiteboard content via email (requires admin email setup).
10. Settings – Adjust eraser mode, enable multi-finger writing, auto-brightness, and customize the toolbar.
11. Exit – Close the app. You’ll be prompted to save unsaved content.
12. Share – Generate a QR code for the current whiteboard file. Others can scan to download (requires internet).
13. List – View all files. You can create, rename, view file paths, or delete files.

3. Toolbar Functions

The toolbar includes basic tools (select, pen, eraser, undo, redo, page controls) plus advanced tools (ruler, shapes, tables, mind maps, sticky notes, preview, grid).

(1) Select Mode

• Move, resize, rotate, flip, clone, color, or delete handwriting, shapes, and inserted objects.

(2) Writing Mode

• Default mode when opening the app.
• Tap the pen icon to choose pen type, color, and thickness.
• Use the palette icon to customize colors.

(3) Eraser

• Tap the eraser icon to remove content by touch.
• Tap again to adjust eraser size.

(4) Clean All

• Clears the entire canvas.
• Use Undo to restore if needed.

(5) Ruler

• Tools: straight ruler, right triangle, and protractor.
• Draw straight lines, measure lengths, or draw angles.

(6) Shape

• Tap to insert standard shapes.
• Choose between 2D/3D shapes and custom colors.
• Smart recognition converts rough sketches into neat graphics.

• Select table size and insert it into the canvas.
• Use Select mode to drag and edit the table.

(8) Mind Map

• Insert a mind map with editable nodes.
• Use “+” to add sub-branches and “-” to delete nodes.

(9) Sticky Notes

(10) Preview

• Enter preview mode to zoom in/out on the entire page for easier navigation.

• Insert a four-line grid.
• Supports handwriting recognition (English only).

• Undo up to 10 actions.
