Thank you for purchasing JAV Products.

The warranties provided by JAV in this Limited Hardware Warranty apply only to Hardware Products you purchase for your use, and not for resale. The term “Hardware Product” means a computing device with a specific function and limited configuration ability, The Hardware Product is sold by JAV for the purpose of executing the specific JAV Software supplied with it.

Nothing in this limited warranty statement affects any statutory rights enjoyed by consumers under the law that cannot be waived or limited by contract.

Warranty coverage

JAV is committed to providing customers with high-quality products and exceptional customer service. Our warranty policy covers the following areas:
Hardware Malfunctions: In the event of hardware malfunctions occurring during normal use, JAV will provide repair or replacement services.
Manufacturing Defects: For functional failures caused by manufacturing defects, we will offer free repair or replacement services.

Warranty period

The warranty period for JAV Smartboard products is 1 year, starting from the date of purchase. During this period, we will cover the cost of repairs and part replacements.

Technical support services

In addition to the one-year limited hardware warranty, JAV Smart Board provides a total of 5 years of technical support to ensure long-term reliability and ease of use.

Our technical support includes the following services:
  • Remote Troubleshooting: Receive assistance from our professional technical team through email, online chat, or video call to diagnose and resolve product issues quickly.
  • Software and Firmware Updates: Get access to the latest software updates and firmware releases to ensure optimal performance and compatibility.
  • User Guidance & Training: Our support team offers remote guidance on product setup, calibration, and advanced feature usage (such as screen sharing, annotation tools, and smart collaboration functions).
  • Spare Parts and Maintenance Advice: Recommendations and technical advice for maintaining your board’s long-term performance and durability.
This 5-year technical support service begins from the date of purchase and remains valid regardless of whether the 1-year warranty period has expired.

Warranty claim process

4.1 Filing a Warranty Claim
Customers encountering any issues with JAV Smartboard products can apply forwarranty services through the following channels:
Online Application: Fill out the warranty claim form on JAV Support Form.

4.2 Product Evaluation
Upon receiving a warranty claim, our engineers will conduct a thorough product evaluation. If the issue is confirmed to result from a manufacturing defect or hardware malfunction, we will proceed with repair or replacement services.
4.3 Repair or Replacement
Once the issue is verified, we will provide the following services based on the assessment:
Repair: For issues deemed repairable, we will promptly conduct necessary repairs to ensure the product functions properly.
Replacement: If repair is not feasible, customers will receive a brand-new JAV Smartboard product as a replacement.

Exclusions from warranty coverage

The following situations are not covered under the warranty:
Intentional Damage: Damage caused by accidents, improper use, or unauthorized repairs.
Force Majeure Events: Damage resulting from fires, floods, or other natural disasters.
Unauthorized Modifications: Alterations or repairs carried out without authorization.

Additional terms

  • This warranty policy is non-transferable and applies solely to the original purchaser.
  • Any repairs or replacements made during the warranty period will not extend the product’s warranty duration.
  • JAV Smartboard reserves the right to adjust the terms of the warranty policy as needed.
